Effective May 7th, 2013, previous versions of the From I-9 will no longer be acceptable and only the new Form I-9 (Rev. 03/08/13 N) can be used.
On March 8, 2013, USCIS issued a new version of the Form I-9. Employers were giving a 60-day grace period during which employers were instructed to begin using the newly revised Form I-9 (Rev. 03/08/13 N) for all new hires and reverifications.
