The United States Department of Labor (DOL) has released an updated Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) poster. Employers covered by the FMLA are required to post, in a conspicuous place which is visible to both employees and applicants, a poster prepared by the DOL summarizing both the major provisions of the FMLA and indicating how an employee can file a complaint.
Additionally, the DOL has published an Employer’s Guide to the Family Medical Leave Act, a 75-page booklet which is designed, according to the DOL, to “provide essential information about the FMLA, including information about the employers’ obligations under the law and the options available to employers in administering leave under the FMLA.”
