TDB/FLI Overhaul Means Less Time Processing Claims for Employers

Employers will no longer be required to submit wage data when an employee files a claim with the NJ Department of Labor & Workforce Development (LWD) for Temporary Disability or Family Leave Insurance Benefits.  Instead, LWD will base the employee’s weekly benefit rate on the earnings reported by the employer on the quarterly earnings statement.  LWD has created a webpage for employers explaining how the employer role will be changing.
