With the public health executive orders expiring in New Jersey, the U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has updated its Guidance on Mitigating and Preventing the Spread of COVID-19 in the Workplace. Among other things, most New Jersey employers no longer need to take steps to protect their fully vaccinated workers who are not otherwise at-risk from COVID-19 exposure. However, the agency advises employers to protect unvaccinated workers, thus posing difficult choices for employers.
