The Continuing Extension Act of 2010, signed by President Obama on April 15th, extends the eligibility date for the COBRA subsidy from March 31st to May 31, 2010. Individuals who involuntarily lose their job through May 31st will be eligible for the 65% subsidy for a total of 15 months. Workers who were involuntarily terminated after March 31st but before this extension was passed will qualify for the subsidy.
